Zephyros was careful to dodge out of the headmistress' way. One of the boys was the one he'd saved from Fable; Ian, wasn't it? But the other... an illusion made real? Was that even possible? Or was something else really weird going on?
He peeked into the classroom again, wrinkling his nose against the smell. "I might just be an academy student, but I think we might want to open a window in here, no?"

Istvan looked over at him and nodded. "Please feel free... I'm going to go and change, if no one minds." He moved slowly toward the door, wincing and trying not to gag at every warm, damp, squelching step.

Zeph looked at him, wrinkling his nose. "Tell me where your dorm is and I'll grab something. You could just go to the nearest bathroom."
He went in and opened a window, using his talents to help get the smell outside where it could dissipate. He looked at Istvan sympathetically.

"Thank you. University dorms, room 511," Istvan told him, squelching his way out the door and down the hall.

Zeph nodded and ran off, making a note of where Istvan went so he could find him again.
He came back not much later, holding just a clean uniform. He gave it to Istvan... having included socks and the only other pair of shoes he had been able to find. As well as a plastic bag for the clothes Istvan was wearing.

Natalie had barely heard the blast, but as she was on her way back from the restroom and the class she was going back to was boring anyway, she decided to head over and see what all the commotion was about. She got there just in time to see the headmistress leading two boys away. She didn't recognize one of them, but the other...
Was that Ian?
Yes, it was, Natalie decided. Only Ian could be shaking that much. She was tempted to run after them, to try to comfort Ian, but before she could decide for or against, he was gone, off to face the headmistress' wrath. Instead, Natalie turned and dashed into the classroom, which was now in an uproar. Students were all talking to one another in loud voices, trying to piece together what just happened.
"Hey!" She called to anyone who would listen. "Hey! Somebody tell me what's going on here! What happened to Ian? Hello!"

Liam turned to look at the source of the voice that was calling out above all the others. A young, pretty redhead was surveying the room in utter confusion. Liam moved closer to her, trying to find words to explain what he knew.
"There was some kind of accident... the mages were practising making illusions, and Ian made one of a person. He somehow brought it to life. The Headmistress took Ian and the boy he made down to her office to find out what happened. That's about as much as anyone knows, I think."

Natalie's jaw dropped. Ian had done what? It was too insane to believe... magic couldn't actually do that, could it? Things just didn't work that way. She stared blankly at the boy in front of her, trying to understand what she'd just heard. Every fiber of her being told her to go after Ian, try to get him calmed down, but she knew that the chances that she would be allowed in the headmistress' office during the conversation were slim to none.
"...that's impossible." was all she could manage. "Is Ian alright? I mean, he's not in trouble, is he? He was shaking pretty bad when I saw him..."

Liam could only shrug. "I guess that's for the Headmistress to decide. I don't think anyone's seen something like this happen before. Kind of makes it hard to say whether it's good or bad."

"Well, I hope he's okay." Natalie said softly. However, in her mind, she was already running through every scenario, good and bad. Ian was fine... Ian was suspended... Ian was expelled...
This could end very badly...

"Me too," Liam agreed. Ian really hadn't looked good when he was leaving the classroom. All that puking couldn't have been good for his stomach. Or for his classmate's clothes.
If only he had a greater sense of what kind of school this was before coming here... How had he managed to find his way here in the first place?

Istvan slipped back into the room a few minutes later, dressed in the clean uniform the young blond mage had brought him. He avoided his own messy footprints, looking around at the room and its occupants. He wondered whether Ian and his... creation... were going to be in trouble. After all, there couldn't exactly be a rule against something if that something was thought impossible...
