Yuki carefully placed his violin down along with his bow. "Stay there," he said a smile spreading across his face. Hell, she'd already seen him dance, why not show her his nerd as well. Besides he needed someone who knew how to play piano for this to work. "I will be right back," he finished excitedly.
He turned on his heels to run out of the band room, nearly tripping as he turned into the hall.

Roien leaned back on the piano bench to watch him flee the room. She winced and reached out her hand as he appered to almost fall. She sighed with relief when he caught himself.
She pinked out a short simple tune with one finger on the piano keys. What was it that he seemed so energetic about? Well, she supposed she would find out soon enough.

Yuki skidded into the room a few minutes later. In his hands was a book of sheet music. He glanced at the cover and smiled. "I-I hope I wouldn't be intruding on you to ask for you to play something for me?" he inquired, suddenly becoming nervous. He touched his bangs, smoothing them out.
He walked over to Roien at the piano and flipped the book open to a previously marked page. With slightly shakey hands he placed the book on the music stand. "W-would you mind playing that?"

Roien blinked at the speed of the boy's return, he definately did seem excited about something. She couldn't fight the tug on the right side of her mouth at his timidness, it was an interesting trait. She liked it.
When he set the music before her, she sifted her weight so she could scoot closer on the bench to get a better look at the notes. Her brows slowly began to furrow together. She had never seen this music before. The title to the song was in some other language, Japanese, perchance? She bit the inside of her lower lip thinking. She could read the notes easily, it was a fairly simple tune and very repetitive.
At Yuki's question she shook her head "no" and positioned her hands over the keys. She looked over the first few bars again and began to play.

At her nod Yuki scurried over to his violin and quickly prepaired himself for his cue to play. He shook out his shoulders and arms, you can't play the violin with the jitters of excitement. He had memorized the violin part of the song but now he was finally going to hear it with the piano added to it.
He pressed his chin into place and breathed. He closed his eyes and joined her in the song.

Roien watched Yuki between glances at the sheet music in front of her. It was a happy little tune and it was definitely catchy. She began to move her head a little with the violin melody that Yuki was playing, obviously meaning for that to be the lyrical part. She wondered where this song had come from, it certainly did not have any of the calling cards of the classical composers that she knew of.
