"Well," Raoul said, stepping out from behind the plant, "I was un-theoretically embarrassed. But that's besides the point." He looked at Ammeryn a not so joking look on his face, "Do you have an answer?"

Ammeryn let the air out of her cheeks and quirked her lips to one side. Her face snapped into a jovial expression.
"I," she said slowly, "am..." The last bit, she said in a rush-- "going to make you work for it!" With that she left at a run, which was not very fast compared to someone like Raoul.

Raoul smirked and chased after Ammeryn. It took him a few seconds to catch up to her and two more to pass her. He turned and stood his ground in front of her with his arms out streatched. "Come into my arms, my theoretical love," he chuckled.

Ammeryn giggled and continued forward, letting what little momentum she had bump her into Roaul. She wrapped her arms around his middle and gave him a hug.
"Theoretical hug for my theoretical love, whom I am apparently now theoretically in a relationship with?"

Raoul smirked and huged her loosely. "I didn't say I would 'theorectically' date you. I ased if you would "date" me. There was no 'theoretical' before the word 'date'." Raoul gently flipped his bangs out of his hair and looked a way, a tinge of pink on his cheeks.

Ammeryn froze, looking up at Raoul.
"You sneaky little--" She grinned, her eyebrows slowly lifting. She stepped away from him, her mouth quirked to one side in thought. Raoul's proposition was an interesting one. But on the other hand, she had just met him yesterday. But on the other other hand, she had never been able to converse that freely with someone other than her family and the Gussumarus.
But she had just met him yesterday.
The thought struck her that her parents had dated after only knowing each other for a day or two. But she wasn't so sure her father would appreciate applying that to his youngest daughter.
She liked Raoul, though, and she knew it. Hell, she had certainly rushed into relationships before.
Ammeryn turned on her heel to step around Raoul, walking past him to continue on her way.

Raoul turned as she walked past. He frowned and shook his head. "I ran you off, didn't I?" he asked quietly so only she could hear. He ran his fingers through his hair as curses filled his head.

Ammeryn turned to face him once again, though she still walked down the hallways-- backward, now. She gave Raoul a light smile.
"Running away? No. I was heading up to your room to play more video games with you."

Raoul's dark orange-brown eyes widdened in a short display of surprize. Then a soft smile broke over his tanned features.
"Are you sure you're up to the flying hell hounds?" he asked with a smirk, "They have big nasty pointy teefs."
He quickened his pace slightly until he was walking by her side. His brows furrowed a little. What an odd, but completely charming girl . . . but he wondered if he would get his answer today or not. He wouldn't mind waiting. If anything, being Momo's brother had taught him that patience was in fact a vertue.

Ammeryn continued to travel backwards, trusting that Raoul would stop her if she were about to, say, slinky down a flight of stairs. She hooked her loose pigtails behind her ears and gave him a midly incredulous look. "Hellhounds? Hellhounds in a Fatal Frame game? Wow, they're stepping it up." Then a thought struck her. She brightened and gave a mild squee that was more than a little bit fangirly. "Ooh! Do we get to play as the other couple now? Oh, we get to find out about the moon half of the prophecy, don't we? Awesome!"

Raoul raised an eyebrow at her excitement. "Yeah, we get to play as the other couple," he said. He linked his hand around her elbow and pulled her a little closer to him, so she didn't run into a jut out in the wall. "I'm looking forward to the moon half, it's supposed to be bloodier."
He thought for a second . . . there was something else scary about this part of the game other than just hell hounds . . . but what was it? Oh well, he was sure he'd remember eventually.
