Rudeth tensed, pulling Aritha toward him protectively, his eyes fixed solidly on the Red Death. It was obvious that this man was not the timid history professor, and -- even more alarmingly -- that something was very wrong with the two in the balcony. There was no way in hell those two were really princes of the fae...
Instinctively, Rudy's hand went for the hilt of his sword. This one was only an elegantly made prop, but it was still metal. If it came down to it, he could probably make it hurt. He hoped.
"Something bad," he whispered. "Something very bad."

She pressed against him, her heart racing. Her dark eyes scanned the audience, seeing Zeph and Jason trying to get out. Please let them get out! she prayed, not really knowing who she was praying to. Whomever would listen. Then her eyes widened, looking at the man in the Red Death's costume. She wanted to get away from him!

Hitoshi started as his sister dashed off the stage, squeezing Alex's hand tighter. She had seen something. There was something off about the man on the stage, and from the way he kept talking to Korlian, it had something to do with the fae.
"What's he talking about?" he murmured, tilting his head to get a better view of the stage. He knew something about Lhachlhass and Korlian...
He wanted to run. To hide. To do something to get himself and Alex out of harm's way. It would be so easy to sneak out the door... It was only a few inches away. No one would notice.
But Hitoshi wanted to see this. He wanted to know what was happening. And something told him that it was too late to run for safety.

He could feel it, they were watching him. All of them had their eyes on him. All the worthless human trash that had mocked him and insulted he and his brother. Now their eyes were on him the real him and those eyes were filled with terror.
Excitement rushed through Lhachlhass. It straightened his back, it filled his lungs, it made his blood and breath rush. He threw his head back and laughed, it wasn't evil or maniacal it was relief and joy. He was free!
He shot Korlian a look of mirth before taking a few steps back then running forward and jumping off the balcony. He landed easily below.
Striding down the walkway to the stage he spoke loudly.
"And who here are we that summons so boldly to me? I would think one of Fae kind to have more mind then to so rudely call to me with such gall." He gave another laugh, he was back in his element. "I am firstborn Prince Lhachlhass the Sgiathach*, there is no ounce of regalty that my great blood lacks. Heir oldest of Summer King Finvarra ruler of the Éire, what of my royal person do you desire? But first speak your name before you bring yourself further shame. And perhaps if you respectfully restart anew I great Lhachlhass shall treat with you."
He had reached the staged and hopping up easily stopped a few feet in front of his beseecher.
(*Sgiathach= winged a nick name he earned because of his feather cloack it's pronounced Sky-ah-thack)

Alex clung to Hitoshi's arm in fright. "Please, what's going on?" he whispered, hoping he wasn't somehow heard, recognized, and blamed for... something. "Do you have any idea? Shouldn't someone do something?"

Ah, hell, were the first words that ran through Angel's mind. The darkness dimmed somewhat, and the lights became slightly more visible, but otherwise, he stood firm. He'd let his passions run away with him, like always, and if he didn't tread carefully... well, as far as he was concerned, they couldn't possibly hurt him, but they sure were more powerful than usual, and it would be a waste of time.
"I'm... sorry. I don't have a name I could give you with respect," he spoke, a growl of irritation beneath his voice. "Just the one I'm going by, and you know that one. I meant to warn you- and everyone else- and inform you of my intentions. Do as you will with the information."
One hell of an anticlimax; he really should've made Frog do this. He touched one hand to the mask he wore, just in case.

Korlian grinned at his brother, following him quickly over the edge of the balcony. The two of them together seemed to be a mirror image of the other and yet... complete opposites. Both were tall, with skin so pale it seemed almost blue, or grey. Korlian was elegant, his wavy blond hair falling perfectly down to his shoulders and a little beyond. His clothes appeared to be of rich velvets and brocade of a dark blue and smoky grey that perfectly complimented him.
He looked at his wild brother, grey eyes calmly inquistive. Ah, this was the brother he remembered. The Lhachlhass who was truly a force to be reckoned with. With feathered cloak and leathers thrown together from his kills, his reddish-gold hair a slight halo around his head. The perfect image of a WildFae on the hunt.
"Warn us of what we already knew? Such a shame to waste your breath," Korlian purred, climbing onto the stage with feline grace. His eyes glanced over the audience, glowing slightly as he looked at the fear in everyone's eyes, the awe and respect. Most especially his eyes were caught by the boys by the door, Hitoshi and Alex, and then the Winds-boy and the werewolf, Zeph and Jason. Notos barely attracted his attention for a moment, then he turned back to Angel, circling around to stand behind him.

Hitoshi pressed one finger to Alex's lips to shush him. "Fae," he murmured, his eyes fixed firmly on the stage. "And from what they're saying...I think there are more of them coming."
He felt the eyes of the younger prince on him, boring into him. A cold chill crept down his spine. He shuddered, tightening his arm around Alex's waist. "He's watching us," he hissed.

Jason couldn't help but glance over his shoulder as he sneaked along behind Professor Harrows toward the auditorium doors. He could feel he was being watched. His hackles would have been rising if he were in wolf form; as it was, the hairs on the back of his neck were prickling.
He froze, meeting the gaze of the one who was watching them. It was one of the figures from the box, the one with grey eyes and long blond hair. That gaze was full of ice and silver blades, piercing his heart and making his blood run cold. Instinctively he tightened his grip on the hands he was holding, unable to move from where he stood.

Zeph froze as well, following Jason's gaze. His hand tightened around Jason's, his heart beginning to pound again. The younger of the two creepy people... the ones the Red Death had called "princes"... was looking right at them. Zeph couldn't read his expression... the pale skin, oddly shaped eyes and scar down his cheek made it a bit difficult. He let go of Notos and moved closer to Jason, shaking.

Diana winced slightly as Jason's hand tightened around her own, pausing and looking over her shoulder at him and Zeph. Then something else caught her eye... someone was staring at them from the stage. Someone with long blond hair, dressed elegantly in blue and grey silks and velvets. His stormcloud-grey eyes were fixed in their direction.
She shuddered under the force of that gaze, feeling all of her instincts telling her to flee. But she would not abandon her students... and Vincent was somewhere backstage, hopefully safe. She would not leave him, either, except to find help. But everyone who could possibly be of help was here in the auditorium, and the room was being dominated by the two tall strangers. Running away would be useless, she realized, her grip on Jason's hand faltering. There was nowhere to go.
She stiffened in shock as she continued to gaze at the grey-eyed figure, suddenly realizing who he was. He looked older now, and was much taller, but there was no mistaking the face as Korlian's.
Diana stood rooted to the floor, her heart sinking in despair and confusion. What had become of the curious young boy who had helped her weed her gardens, who was such a friend to Ariel? His gaze was cold and calculating, far from innocent and naive. Which side of him was the true one, and which was the disguise? Was the young boy still inside of him, overcome by a stranger, stronger power, or was his innocence only the mask he had suddenly abandoned? Or did those two sides coexist within him somehow, like Jekyll and Hyde?

Ian's heart beat even faster as the two... creatures... descended from the balcony. The closer that the two got to the stage, the more Ian became certain that one of the two was Korlian. Which would make the other one, the more frightening one, Lhachlhass. A combination of curiosity and fear kept him rooted to his spot on the floor, while his every instinct told him to run.
Something was terribly wrong here. Ian couldn't tear his gaze from the two "fae princes" even if he tried. If Lhachlhass had not been there, Ian probably would have tried to interject, reason with Korlian. Even then he might have hesitated, though - the crossfire between the fae and the Red Death was not something Ian wanted to get mixed up in.
Natalie had disappeared from the other side of the stage - Ian hoped she had fled the room, but he knew that that had probably not happened. Ian turned his attention back to Korlian and Lhachlhass, watching them carefully. Neither one seemed to have noticed Ian perched on the edge of backstage. If Ian was going to run, now was the time to do it.
But no. Something was going to happen. All of this was going to have to come to a climax. And Ian wanted to be around to at least see what would happen, even if he was powerless to stop it.

Lhachlhass' face was set in a slight smile as he gauged carefully as he could without the help of facial expression the intentions of the other Fae. His words hadn't meant to much to Lhachlhass but in them he think he found something he could play with.
After a few minute of scrutinizing over the masked face the Unseelie turned to his brother. "What thinks Korli-kitty? Who has his hackles raised and his tail swinging." he asked in a sing-song voice.
As he addressed his brother the Wild Fae's gaze followed the path Korlian's had, burning eyes falling on all his brother had just examined passively looking for what had caught his partner's interest.
Lhachlhass took mental notes of the faces in case he had need of them later and he too went back to looking at the bold Fae in front of him.
"And as for our actor for abducted actor." Orange eyes narrowed slightly."Why won't we give a name, afraid of Fae or afraid of our mortal audience? Sudden case of stage fright?" He laughed.

Angel clenched the fist that wasn't hovering by his mask hard enough to hurt.
"You know nothing," he hissed, the echoing effects dropping from his voice, "even while you care less. Dance around in your pretty freedom while the world burns around; I'll hold no concern for it."
Immediately, he removed the mask; behind it there was nothing.
In an eyeblink, the nothing was all that could be seen.
