It was still a few days into the Spring break when SaeRyun had finally managed to get to Dunehelden. He had left his things unpacked in his room and had managed to find his way to the Auditorium.
SaeRyun's neon green eyes widened as he soaked in the stage, seating and pure largeness of the space. This was going to be a wonderfull place to work. He had worked in out door theatres larger but never an in door of this calibur or scale. The right side of his mouth curved upwards slightly. He could get used to this.
He walked down to the stage and began to inspect his new work space. He tapped the toe of his black dress shoe against the stage. Hard wood, classic. An uneven spot in the floor caught his eye. SaeRyun tilted his head to the left to move his hair out of his eyes, nice a trap door. This was going to be fun.
His ears perked listening for sound. He was supposed to meet his superior, a Professor Smoke, he believed. He began to glance around, absorbing any movement. This had been where Smoke had told him to meet, he had gotten there early but not by much.
SaeRyun fell into his usual voice that he used for speaking, his old theatre teacher from 1970. "Professor Smoke," he called out (wow the acoustics were fantastic) his voice deep and clear, "Are you here?"

Ash had arrived with SaeRyun early to the school. Only he insisted of disappearing as soon as they walked into the castle. Ash eventually found her way to her dorm and dumped her stuff. She'd unpack later, now, there were more important matters, like exploring.
She wandered the halls, partially to get her bearings and partially to find Sae. Damn him for leaving her so suddenly, some father figure. She came across a pair of large double doors, one being slightly ajar. She heard what appeared to be SaeRyun's voice from within. She peered inside.
Ash gasped in awe. So THIS was were Rimmy would be working. She stepped inside and began to walk towards the stage. "Wow!" she exclaimed, streaching her arms over her head. "You can really breathe in here."

SaeRyun nearly jumped at the surprize of hearing Ash's voice. He turned towards her and crossed his arms over his dark purple button up shirt, carefull not to wrinkle the fabric.
"How did you get here?" he inqured, his voice taking over a comanding fatherly tone, "Shouldn't you be unpacking or getting your school schedule sorted out?" He took a few steps till he reached the apron of the stage, looking down at her through his angled bangs.

Ash continued to walk forward, eyeing the space as she did. "Oh, shut it, Rimmy," she said as she dismissed questions with a wave of her hand, "I can do all that stuff later."
She hitched her boy basketball shorts higher on her hips and leaned over a bit. She eyed the stage, still a good ways off, sticking her tongue out to one side. She ran the rest of the way down the row, her yellow sneakers smacking the carpet. At the last possible second she jumped and landed perfectly on the stage next to SaeRyun. She turned and smiled at him, her aubern bangs in her face.

SaeRyun rolled his eyes. "I'm so glad that you are taking your new education so seriously," he said, his tone overflowing with sarcasim.
He watched her as she jumped up onto the stage, his face expressionless. When she looked at him he sighed, "Ah, you are such a lady." He rubbed the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger. "Was jumping up onto the stage really nessisary?" he inqured.

Ash shrugged and brushed her bangs out of her face. "You know I don't view myself much as a female, Rimmy," she said, looking around.
At his question she smirked and added, "Yus, it was very very nessisary. It's much faster and I'm probably going to be doing a lot of it." She stared at him harshly. "You ARE going to keep your promise about finding a new stage manager, right?" she asked, "Just 'cause I've been doing it for 30 years does not mean that I intend to do it forever."

Sae chuckled a slightly evil smirk curling onto his lips. "We'll see," he answered, "It depends on the students, not me. If I can find a student suitable to fit my requirements then I shall release you from your task."
He turned on his heel and walked towards one of the wings to continue his exploration of the theatre.

Ash stomped after SaeRyun. "Hold it, Rimmy!" she exclaimed, "I DEMAND a respite!" She managed to pass him and stood in front of him to block his way. "You SAID that when you got a teaching job you would let the other students handle it," she said in a matter-of-fact manner.
Ash paused and crossed her arms over her chest, one of the sleeves of her jersy-style top slipping from her shoulders (it was obviously a little big for her). "I could always quit," she said with a smirk, "Then where would you be?"

Sae sighed and fixed her top. "You really should wear clothes that fit," he said in a slightly disapproving tone, "If you insist on wearing boy's clothes, at least wear clothes that fit."

Ash shrugged away from Sae's touch. "Hey, they are comfy," she said defencively, "You KNOW how I prefer comfort over fashion."
She paused for a second thinking. She shook her head, frustrated. "And my choice in clothing is NOT what we are discussing!" she exclaimed. Ash pointed her finger up at the taller male. "I WILL quit, Rimmy," she threatened, "And don't you think I won't."

Sae winced a little at her last statement. "Must you have used a double negative?" he inqured. He touched his index finger to his chin, musing, "Such poor grammar. I'm most disappointed in you, Ashley."
He moved to step around her to continue his exploration of the theatre.

Ash sifted her weight to her other foot so she could lean to block his way. "MY NAME IS NOT ASHLEY, RIMMY!!" she exclaimed, very annoyed.
Her yellow eyes narrowed at him in a glare. "My grammar is fine, thank you!" she hissed. "You're acting as if you don't care as to whether I agree to be your stage manager, and help you or not," she said, placing her hands on her hips. "Well?" she inquried, trying to be intimidating, "is that what you're saying?"

SaeRyun arched a slightly annoyed eyebrow. "Well, MY name is NOT 'Rimmy', yet you insist on calling me that silly name," he retorted.
He sighed and reached out to pat her arm. "Now, now, Ash," he said, his voice becoming more calm, "I do care, but I also know that you like theatre as well, so you would want to help me." He used the hand on her arm to gently move her to the side, continuing in his previous endevor. He looked over his shoulder at her, changing his voice to hers in the same tone she used earlier, "Well? Are you coming with me or not?"
