Player's Name: Emi
Name: Karasu Kyosuke
Age: 17
Grade: Academy Junior
Birthday: 3 January
Height: 6’
Weight:
Gender: male
Appearance: Kyosuke is an attractive boy, if you think the cold, unattainable look is attractive. His lack of color is rather striking for a human—his skin is pale and marked only by a tattoo of his family crest on one arm. His eyes were originally black, but after he took his fox form for the first time they lost their color—they are now a washed-out shade of ice blue, with a new odd shape that is decidedly foxlike. His hair is snow-white and always has been. He has a sleek, streamlined build that gives him mild aesthetic curves (Think of Jaejoong—Vero knows who I’m talking about) and serves to enhance his agility but doesn’t do much for brute strength. His movements are all about precision and effect, not performance or power.
Personality: Kyo is a cold hearted, conniving strategist. He is the mind to Gussu and Kazari’s body and spirit. He associates himself with people who serve his own purposes, and if he shows affection towards anyone it is nearly impossible to tell if he really cares or if he is merely constructing a strategic bond to be used to his advantage later. This does not mean that he is an unkind person—Kyo is certainly capable of being genuinely amiable, but blatant expression of emotion is not something he sees as necessary.
History: Kyo spent his childhood in the same neighborhood as Gussu and Kazari. He and Gussu have been rivals since they knew what to call that “I hate you but I’m keeping you around because you’re so much fun to torment” feeling they shared. Kazari had always been the peacekeeper of sorts between the two, and though Kyo usually prides himself on his ability to keep his emotional distance from people, he tends to gravitate back to Kazari. Even he is unsure if this is because being Kazari’s friend is another way to annoy Gussu, or if he really feels an attachment to the girl. Chances are high that it’s a little of both, but Kyo likes to believe that it’s solely another aspect of his rivalry with Gussu: status, talent, Kazari. See? It makes sense. Solely a fire-ice thing.
Anyway, Kyo stayed behind in the village while Gussu was sent to Dunehelden. He enjoyed almost a full year of having Kazari to himself before she, too, was shipped off, and Kyo was left to his own devices. He traveled often, and eventually started having dreams of becoming a foxlike spirit and stealing obscure objects from shrines in the forests around his village. Oddly, he had woken up to find these objects in his possession more than once. He returned the artifacts to their respective shrines, and met with a shaman at one of them, from whom he learned of Dunehelden and the education offered there.
Imagine his surprise when he found, not only Gussu, but Kazari attending as well.
Shapeshifter Type: Chosen
Shape: An odd creature, resembling something between a wolf and a fox. It technically is a fox, sleek and silvery white in color, but it has a certain ferocity about it, and its tail is rather longer than is natural for a fox.
Powers: While thievery is really a talent, and not a power, Kyo has, over time, found that he can manipulate ice. This includes manifesting ice from moisture drawn out of the air, and condensing said moisture into limited amounts of mist.
Weaknesses: Kyo is extremely susceptible to heat. Fire weakens him so much that he has developed a bit of a phobia towards it. Even a hot summer day can keep him indoors indefinitely.
