The Headmaster's quarters adjoin to the school. The easiest and most direct way to get to the Headmaster's apartment is through the back door of her office, as the only other way to it is through wandering through the woods behind the academy. There seems to be some sort of enchantment because all of those attempting to find it through the woods find themselves lost in woods. Even the werewolves find themselves disoriented...
The back door of the Headmaster's office opens to a long, winding path within the trees which almost entire obscures the sunlight from vision. Just a short distance up the path, a small house sits. The house is a peculiar sight, a bright and modern one-story building with tall, skinny windows. It looks slick and angular, and anyone familiar with the peculiar staff could probably guess that it was designed by Smoke.
Inside, the house is decorated in an eclectic fashion, with each decoration more elaborate and garish than the last. Each piece looks to be some sort of antique, though whether or not it truly is is a mystery. The inside, it seems, it Veronique's creation.
The kitchen is barely stocked and seems to only have junk food, with little in the way of nourishment. The living room, if it can be so called, is otherwise an elegant (if garish) time capsule of glorious days past, but the illusion is ruined by the hunks of technology cluttering her floor. An xbox 360, a Nintendo Wii, a Playstation 3, a Super Nintendo, a Sega Genesis...
Oh, no. These weren't Veronique's. (Maybe I should just give Himmel the damn plasma screen so he'll get his shit out of my house?)
Upstairs, there is a small library, mostly filled with books for pleasure reading, though some research materials are scattered throughout - mostly things too heavy or too precious to be allowed in the school library.
Veronique's room is colored in dark reds and purples, a stereotypical vampire's room if there ever was one. Scattered throughout are religious icons of various religions, and on one shelf sits a large collection of porcelain dolls - dolls in kimonos, dolls in Victorian gowns, dolls in overalls and dolls in flapper dresses, just to name a few.
And on the desk, a shiny pink laptop sits. Apparently Veronique isn't as immune to modern technology as she pretends to be.
It's her refuge, her sanctuary in this strange little house.
There's nothing that says "No trespassing", but the house gives off the distinct impression of "Trespassers will be dinner." From the outside, it doesn't look like a vampire haven, but it sure as hell does feel like one...

Himmel lay, stomach down on the floor in front of the huge TV. There was no movement from him save the occasional finger movement skimming across the controller. A blanket has been stolen from the bed upstairs and was wrapped around his shoulders. His eyes stared up at the flickering screen, lost in the game. Around him were scattered empty boxes as he chewed slowly on the last piece of pocky.

The young woman would slowly walk through the thick forest, humming a little tune as she went. she was amazed at how old these trees looked. she danced around a bit, reaching into her bag and taking out some seeds, pokeing some into the ground. after she was done with that her body glowed for a split second and suddenly all of the seeds that she planted sprouted into flowers of all sizes and colours. she then giggled and continued on her wandering, sprinckleing seeds here and there, the flowers sprouting out as she went by.

A firm hand fell across the young woman's shoulder.
Behind her stood a woman in her early forties, with long blond hair and eyes of a brilliant violet. Her voice was kind but firm as she stated, "Young lady, I'm not sure I've seen you before, but the students aren't allowed in this area. The only parts of the woods you are allowed to explore are the parts within the courtyard walls."
She was dressed in the garb of the mortal professors, with a sword hung on her hip.

"um..sorry ma'am" she said, bowing quickly. she then looked around, not knowing where she was, not realy paying attention to where she wa\s going. "um...c-could you help me get back?"

Rivienne sighed, leading the young girl back through the woods. "It's all right," she replied. "I won't tell the Headmaster. But from now on, try not to wander. These woods are more dangerous than they appear." The look in her violet eyes was distant and knowing.

~she bit her bottom lip gently as she followed her, her hands together and infront of herself and he rhead lowered. she felt like she was being scolded, not sure why there would be anything dangerous here since it seemed so pleasant.~

Rivienne smiled, keeping one hand gently on the girl's shoulder. "Now, don't worry. As long as I'm with you, it's safe enough," she continued. "Those woods...they're beautiful. It's because they're...magic. The same thing that makes them so beautiful is what makes them so terribly dangerous. You always have to be careful."

~she blinked, looking up to her. "oh...but i can use magic...some...wouldnt i be okay? what kind of things are there?" she asked, looking abck some at the forest, staying close to the teacher~

Rivienne paused for a moment, keeping the girl close. They were very near the edge of the forest now, approaching the school. "It is...a different sort of magic," she explained. "Besides, being magic doesn't mean magic can't hurt you. That's why so many mages spend so much time learning to use magic. So they can attack their fellow magic users."

[pink]Rivienne sighed. She was so very young...
"Yes, well, sometimes it's necessary," she explained. "There are some people who would fight you, so you have to learn how to protect yourself against it."
They reached the edge of the forest at least, arriving at the school. The howl of a wolf, three desperate cries, echoed through the night. Rivienne grabbed her sword by the hilt, heels digging into the ground.
"I'm afraid we must part ways, little one," she said, her voice soft but alert. "Head back inside quickly. There is danger afoot."
Before the girl could respond, Rivienne was dashing at warp speed into the woods toward the howl. It was Tristan's day to patrol the woods... She could only hope that, whatever this way, he was handling it.[/pink]

~she meeped, hearing the howl and then the shing of the woman drawing her sword, a littl bit scared of what kind of school she got into. she decided to listen to her and headed back inside, just weandering the random halls now~

He ran silently and quickly through the woods. Funny really, they felt like they were trying to lie to him, how silly of them he thought. Finally he saw the cabin. He smiled and leapt onto a low branch and hopped up higher until he got to one in front of a window. With one arm he held on to the branch and with the other he quietly and quickly unlatched the window, jumping in, landing with a small thud he looked around.

[red]Veronique sat in her room, laptop open in front of her, doing the finishing touches on new plans for the school. A thin smirk crept across her face. It was not, by any means, a good sign for any party involved.
Then, interrupting her peaceful plotting, there was a crash. Veronique quickly flew to her feet. "Himmel!" she shouted. "Himmel, what did you do?"[/red]

He lay on the couch. The TV glowed but he hadn't been playing anything for a few hours. He was on his back flipping through a manga when he heard the crash and then the call. He rolled his eyes and got up, making his way quickly to her room. He didn't bother to knock. He just entered. "Me? Nothing, you might want to ask the kid in the next room over though. I passed him on my way up O Queen of Darkness and Forced Education."

[red]....a kid...in her house...
There was only one possibility.
Veronique jumped up from her room, dashing out into the hallway.
"Lhachlhass, what the hell are you doing in my house?" she hissed. Someone was going to pay...[/red]

Lhachlhass walked casually over to Veronique, and bowed. Smiling his insane smile. "I have something very important to speak with you about Sir. You see I cannot enter my dorm room, and you being such a kind and good Headmaster will understand this is a problem. Can you help me sir?"

[red]Veronique stared incredulously at the urchin before her. What the hell?
"What in god's name are you babbling on about, you little toad?" she snapped. "Why can you not enter your room?"[/red]

[red]Veronique took a deep breath, thinking of the best ways to exterminate this little pest. "Well, then, why don't you try using a door?" she replied darkly. She was not in the mood for this.[/red]

"Because no one is there to invite me in!! I thought you were supposed to be intelligent! Why don't you people get this stuff. I need a window, how can I get into my room? What kind of school doesn't care about it's students need? Huh? Why am I taking this from the lady who's afraid of the Ice Cream Truck!?" He threw his hands up, shaking his head.

[red]Within a matter of miliseconds, Veronique's hands were on the boy's collar. "Why, you impudent little... Fiche moi le paix!" She gripped his collar tighter. "It's your own room. No one needs to invite you into it. I fail to see how this is my problem! Mon Dieu!" [/red]

He looked down at her hand and looked up at her face then down at her hand again. For a moment he seemed to be thinking about something hard. And the he opened his mouth and bit down on her hand as hard as he could.

[red]The irony of the situation was completely lost on Veronique. She ripped her hand away, gripping the boy by the chin roughly. She forced him to meet her eyes. "You will get the hell out of my house, you disgusting little rat," she seethed, her voice soft as velvet, forcing her will. "You will leave this place and go back into your room, and you will stay there."[/red]
