Carmen stopped before the closed door. He wasn't afraid of it, or more accurately what waited behind it he just wanted a second to make sure he was ready. He'd put a lot of work into this and the delivery of the idea had to go a smooth as possible.
He glanced down at the portfolio that hung from his shoulder. In it were the drawings, blue prints, written explanations, mathematical and magical equations, and the pages estimating price that Carmen had spent months on. It seemed heavier to him when the thought about it that way.
He ran through what he would say in his head one more. And was already making plans for how to proceed anyways if he didn't manage to get the good graces of the Headmaster. Finally in his silence Carmen shook his head and pushed the door open. "Headmaster?"

Veronique gazed up toward the door at the voice. Though she smiled, it held no warmth.
"Come in, Carmen." She closed the lid of the laptop in front of her -- a sure sign that the headmistress took this quite seriously. "I have been expecting you. Take a seat."

Carmen walked in and took the seat in front of the Headmaster's desk. He softly laid down his portfolio and opened it. He figured he had a pretty good idea where to start. He pulled out the sketches and full blueprints and handed them to her.
He was confident and calm when he spoke to her. "Well, I've already shown you a decent amount of what this is, but here is what I plan for the finished project to be. I'll give you a minute to look at it, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have Headmaster."

Veronique skimmed the papers before her, pursing her lips in thought. It was quite detailed -- she would definitely give him that. He had covered nearly every possible hitch in the design, accounted for nearly any possibility. Veronique herself could not find flaw in the plans... Well, no flaw but one.
Veronique looked up at Carmen, her icy smile gone. "This will not be cheap. I trust you have estimates on prices?"

Carmen smiled, "Yes Headmaster. I do have estimates and full explanations for every cost as well." He pulled out that sheet and handed it to her. "It's been made to be as cheap as it can possibly be. The choice is yours in the end. I'll give you first go if it ever get's finished, it will have the Dunehelden crest on it as well."

Veronique considered this for a long moment. "You're going to owe me for this, Carmen. I won't ask you to pay me back, but you're going to owe me a favor. A rather significant one."
She hmmed, peering down at the blueprints. "Also, and this is just a person suggestion, but this part should be purple." Veronique gestured in the general direction of the schematics.

Carmen raised an eyebrow, "But Madam Poulain, you just gestured to all of it. I don't think so, I'll make the crest purple though. The rest will be silver headmaster, it's sort of a signature thing of mine. As for the favor that's fine. I have no problem owing you a favor ma'am. So, what do say? Are we official?" He held out his hand to her.

Veronique tapped her lip thoughtfully.
"I believe we have a deal, Mr. Oloran," she announced, grasping his hand. "You may set up your workshop in Dungeon 3. If you require additional supplies, you may go through Professor Smoke. I will advise him of your situation. You may work only with a chaperone present, as I would prefer you and your assistants to not pull my castle down around your ears. Is this satisfactory?"
