Name: Aye Goyan. (That’s “Ah-yay Go-yahn.” NOT “eye” as in “aye aye, Cap’n!”)
Age: 19
Gender: female
Eye Color: very dark blue—closer to black
Hair Color: pale green. Scene hair style, to her diaphragm.
Height: 5’4.5’’ (164 cm)
Weight: enough. She’s not terribly skinny but she’s got the necessary curves.
Significant Physical Details: Aye’s lower lip is pierced twice (snakebite). Her nose is pierced as well but over the summer she’d gotten into the habit of not wearing her nose ring. Her skin is an average tone, if not a bit pale; her build is that of a typical scene kid—aesthetically curved without too much muscle definition. She is toned, but this is just from healthy habits and does not denote significant athleticism. Oh, and did I mention? She glows. (Not blinding, or anything. In the light, you’d barely notice. In the shade, however, she glows noticeably. It’s a light-absorption thing. The long you leave her in the light, the stronger her glow in darkness.
Class: University Sophomore
Major (required for university students, optional for high schoolers): Dance, minor in sociology
Birthday (Zodiac optional): 27 August
Sexual Orientation: straight
Hobbies: dancing, moshing (YES), surfing, guitar (she’s got fast fingers and like slap-playing), playing video games (Fatal Frame ftw), listening to LOUD music.
Fears: Being alone in wide, open spaces or rooms, complete silence, severe pain, creepy-crawlies
Blood Type: neon. Yes, her blood glows as well.
Seriously, Why are you Here: Both of Aye’s parents were talented mages. It is speculated that Aye must herself be a talented mage, though her powers have yet to manifest in a usable form, if at all. She started glowing around the age of thirteen and was sent to Dunehelden in hopes to hastening her magical maturity. All Aye has managed as far as magic goes is how to control the concentration of her luminescence.
Special Abilities: unexplained luminescence.
Character History: As mentioned above, Aye’s parents were both talented mages—her father German, her mother half Latin and half Norwegian. She grew up in Berlin, taking trips often to the seaside, where she fell in love with surfing. It was also where she learned that she would glow brighter if she spent extended time in the sunlight. Her parents were quite thrilled, thinking that this was a manifestation of power, and had her immediately enrolled at Dunehelden. Over the years they have become more and more disappointed with their daughter, for as each semester passes the probability of her being a formidable mage shrinks exponentially. Aye herself is both sickened and highly amused by her parent’s sky-high expectations, but she loves them dearly nonetheless.
