Name: Kemekin Evans-Barros, Jr. He’ll accept Keme or something of the like, but he will do horrible things to you for calling him “Junior.”
Age: recently turned 15
Gender: male
Eye Color: a shade of startling blue, inherited from his father. The actual color is just as bright as his aunt’s, but darker by a few degrees. They carry a glint that makes “innocent” seem impossible for this boy.
Hair Color: different shades of dark- and oak-brown. The cut is a short, artistic one and the texture varies. It is straight in some places, wavy in others.
Height: 5’7’’
Weight: ballparking--- 136 lbs
Significant Physical Details: Just as his aunt is often mistaken for a younger age, Kemekin has the physical appearance of someone at least a few years older than he. He is the kind of athletic mostly seen in soccer players or sprinters—not necessarily skinny, but far from broad. He has a smile that most would describe as angelic and a sense of humor that all would describe as hectic.
Class: Academy Freshman
Major: N/A
Sexual Orientation: He hasn’t reached dangerous levels of raging hormones yet, but there have been a few girls who have caught his eye.
Hobbies: General mischeif is his game. He likes to build things, as well (a varitable McGuyver, this kid is), and has a love for the theater that most would not expect of him. (Maybe a trait he got from Elliestraaeln?)
Fears: Kemekin doesn’t like to admit his fears. He is oddly reluctant to go swimming though, so perhaps there is a fear of water involved.
Blood Type: type B
School: Abjuration/Transmutation. Healing.
Favorite Spells: unsure, though he does tend to make people’s limbs go numb at odd times… whether accidental or not is unknown.
Magical Strengths: Kemekin’s powers are very similar to Ellie’s in the sense that they involve manipulating the human body. The difference is that Kemekin’s abilities are much more suited for offensive magic. He has yet to fully understand them.
Magical Weakness: Kemekin’s magic is only useful at close range—within arm’s reach, that is. If he can’t touch you, he can do nothing to you.
Character History: Kemekin was born when his father was sixteen. He was put into temporary foster care (thanks to the family of the mother), and when his father graduated high school he claimed Kemekin and moved far away from his hometown. Occassionally he would revisit, intending to introduce his son to his family (at the very least his twin sister, Kemekin’s aunt, Ellie) but he would always get cold feet at the last moment and leave. When Ellie’s child died, Kemekin was taken by his father to attend the small funeral, but they stayed at the back of the group, not wanting to be noticed. Kemekin had been nine at the time, but had nonetheless understood that the slender woman who looked so remarkably like (a pretty version of) his father was someone that he needed to meet. He was not given the chance, however. Immediately after the service his father took him and they returned to the large seaside city in which they resided.
Kemekin’s powers developed very subtly. Nothing too dramatic here—unless you count accidentally giving another child a heart attack dramatic.
