He raised an eyebrow and grunted.
"You look like my little sister's age."

~she looked up to thrall, tilting her head some. "oh? is that a good thing or a bad thing?" she asked, not realy sure. she knew she was quite young in this school. "so what year are you in?" she asked, looking up to him happily again~

He shrugged. "I don't know, maybe you could make friends with her or something. I'm a senior."
He was underestimating his sister's age a little, but she was supposed to be a freshman this year.

~she smiled a little and nodded. "maybe" she giggled and swung her feet back and forth, watching the teachers a bit. "so whats this going to be like? im kinda excited" she said, seeing the teacher that got puked on by the american clothing store and giggled a bit~

"Long, boring, and completely pointless. Enjoy it, it just gets worse the next three times you have to suffer through it."
Where the hell was Carmen?"

Hitomi smiled. "Hey there, kiddo. How's it going?" She certainly was a peculiar little thing, wasn't she?
"So, hey Alex, how have things been going?" she asked, emphasizing it strangely and winking.

"Oh, shit!" Thrall suddenly jumped up and turned around, pointing at Alex.
"Right, the other day? I'm supposed to apologize for that. And yeah, uh, don't take it seriously, I flirt with everybody. Even girls sometimes." He tried a friendly grin, but it came off more like a sneer. "Sorry if I disturbed you or something, I just thought the staring was cute."

Hitoshi stared at Thrall darkly. While the matter was more or less behind him, Thrall wasn't exactly making things better. It figured.
"Thrall, if you're attempting to make your second impression better than your first, I think it's safe to say you missed the mark by a wide margin," Hitoshi remarked sardonically. "You've only succeeded in changing the impression from overconfident asshole to overconfident idiot."

A wicked idea shot through Thrall's mind. He sat back down again, facing Hitoshi, though he couldn't help glancing over to see Hitomi's expression.
"Okay, fine, smartass, so Rudy got all the social skill. Why don't you tell me, if you had been flirting with Alex here and accidentally insulted him, what would you say?"

~she meeped a little when thrall jumped up and started to banter on about stuff to alex, thinking that they must of had some kind of happening earlier on. and it seemed that hitoshi was doing all of alex's defending too, so maybe there was somthing behind the two of them. she whispered din hitomi's ear "whats going on between them?" she asked, watching the developments~

~she giggled and smiled up to her " its going good. just waiting to see whats going to happen is all" she said, staying close to her~ Hitomi scoffed at the boys. Thrall was an idiot, as usual, and Hitoshi was being his typical grouchy self. It was life.
"I don't anything especially interesting is going to happen," she replied. "It rarely does."

Alex smiled at Hitomi, trying to ignore Thrall.
"They've been interesting. How's life been treating you?"

"Not really sure," she whispered back. "Thrall's just an idiot. Alex liked Hitoshi and Hitoshi likes Alex, but I don't think either of them knows. They're all really dense..."
To Alex, she replied, "I'm doing well. Anything good happen?"

Tala knew she was late--very late. That was nothing new. Her eyes skimmed the auditorium as she searched for a place to sit. Most everyone seemed to be in little groups. That didn't appeal to her, though. Tala wasn't a fan of crowds. To the left of the room sat Zed and Yuuki. Though she'd never spoken to either of them, she'd seen them around campus. Tala ambled over and sat beside Zed.

"Okay, fine, smartass, so Rudy got all the social skill. Why don't you tell me, if you had been flirting with Alex here and accidentally insulted him, what would you say?" Hitoshi narrowed his eyes. "That's an idiotic question," Hitoshi spat. "If you tried thinking about the excrement spewing from your mouth instead of just spilling out every imbecilic thought that passes through your minuscule brain, perhaps you wouldn't have to worry about upsetting people."
He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, turning back toward Alex and away from Thrall.

"And I'm sure all your close friends appreciate the sparkling wit and humility you're known for."
Thrall grinned and stood up, beginning to walk off. "I'm gonna go hit the can before this starts. Enjoy staring at the new kid with repressed lust like you've been."

Hitoshi sighed. "You're as charming as ever, Thrall," he replied blandly. "It's a mystery why Carmen hasn't succumbed to your charm yet."
It was, admittedly, a bit of a low blow, and Hitoshi was not typically one to stoop to Thrall's level, but in this case, he could make an exception.

Once situated in her seat, Tala looked towards the stage. All the teachers were seated in a neat row. She looked at all of them, trying to memorize their faces. When she looked at smoke their eyes met and held. Tala had a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach. Smoke smiled. Tala looked hastily away.

Noticing Tala, Zed hopped around in the chair to face her, staring at her intently. Or rather, it seemed, staring at her sleeve -- in a manner that was very invasive of her personal space, no less.
"I don't like polyester," he said nonchalantly. "Pure cotton is much more comfortable. Wouldn't you agree?" He popped a piece of hard candy into his mouth, smoothing out the wrapper before putting it back into his pocket.
"By the way, something bad is going to happen today," he continued. "There's an 90% chance of it. There's a 70% chance that it will be the Headmaster's fault, though the second number might be biased, so there's a 30% margin of error."
Zed looked around for Lhachlhass. He wasn't entirely sure why, but that kid always managed to make these things more fun. And Lhachlhass didn't normally run away and call him a freak. I mean, there was that once, but not normally.

Tala's head snapped around when she heard Zed speaking to her. "Oh, yes. My tarot cards hinted that something bad would be happening soon." She decided to ignore the polyester comment, as she did not particularly care about different types of clothes. "But as for percentages I've not a clue. how did you come to that conclusion? Do you do divinations?" Tala looked at Zed intently.
