A typical dorm room. Four walls, a floor, a ceiling, two beds, a TV, all that other stuff dorms have and a bathroom ajoining the currently empty room 107

Aramis stood, his arms crossed as he glared at the nightmarish pigsty that was his and Kemekin's dorm. Oops, sorry, that was an insult to the pigs. They were generally pretty clean animals.
"How can one person make such a mess?" he growled, shoving everything toward Kemekin's bed. He was careful enough to make sure he didn't damage anything, but just barely. HIS things were put away perfectly, immaculate. Books were alphabetized in his shelves, clothes folded neatly in a chest at the foot of his bed, his bed made... everything was in order. Maybe a bit obsessively in order, but oh well. It filled the time for when he'd finished homework.

Kemekin stepped through the door minutes later and tossed his backpack unceremoniously onto his bed. The book-laden bag landed harmlessly on the crumpled mound that was his comforter.
"Hi there, Aramis," he said cheerfully, suddenly conscious of a smear of what may or may not have been lipgloss at the corner of his mouth. This, he quickly wiped away with his sleeve. "Good news-- I won't have to pester you to help me with math homework. Turns out, Nina's really good at it."
His eyebrows rose slightly, noticing clear spots on the floor that had not been there that morning. Ah-- all of his mess had been pushed to one side of the room.
"Put off by a little clutter, eh?" he teased.

"A LITTLE?" Ara said, his voice almost cracking. "Kemekin, I've seen neater unmucked STALLS. I've seen neater births, neater SLAUGHTERS." He ran a hand roughly through his somewhat long hair, gritting his teeth. "At least try to keep it all on one side? I almost broke my neck trying to force the door open and then tripping over the LAMP that was across it."
He took a slow breath, trying to keep himself under control. It wasn't Kemekin's fault he hadn't grown up where things had to stay neat. Though if he didn't clean at least some of it up, Ara was going to do it for him. And possibly hide most of it.

Kemekin frowned only slightly, muttering to himself, "How the hell did the lamp get there...?"
"Sorry," he said aloud to his roommate, shrugging and stooping to pick up a shoe-- the mate of which he though he had seen back in Eureka while packing for Dunehelden... His voice was colored with amusement. He had been at fault for worse messes before, but never before had he heard slaughters as an analog for them. "I'll, um..." he managed to turn his increasingly blatant chuckles into a cough. "I'll start tidying up, then..."
He regretted this statement as soon as he turned to face the mess in full.
Oh.
That's what he meant by neater slaughters.

Aramis took a deep breath, looking at the mess. "Look... I don't mind a bit of a mess, really. I mean, I know I'm obsessively neat and not everyone is... but I couldn't even see the floor when I came in. That's not a good thing. I LIKE seeing where I put my feet. Just... please put your things on YOUR side of the room. You had a shoe on my bed."

Kemekin chuckled. "Sir yes sir," he intoned, using his feet to slide the mess closer to his bed. He would start cleaning now, as a matter of fact. It was better than doing homework...
Well, he had come to enjoy doing math homework, at least. The class, he hated. Geometry was horrendous. His tutor, however, he greatly enjoyed the company of. A grin slowly curled onto his face as he started putting away clothes and books and who-knows-what-else.
The floor was visible now, at least. Kemekin still had to wonder how the lamp had migrated to the door.

Aramis groaned, putting a hand over his eyes. He should have done his best to get a room with someone his age. That might have been easier to adjust to. He sat on his bed, watching Kemekin with a raised brow. Well, if he got hurt, he knew who to blame. He could just see it.
Hi miss Ellie. Yeah, I'm lying here paralyzed because my roommate left a lamp by the door and I slipped on it with my arms full. No, I don't blame him much. Nope, doesn't hurt. Doesn't anything, actually, but at least it doesn't hurt.
He snorted at the idea, happy at least that he could see the floor. Hopefully Kemekin would keep his things OVER there. If not... well, he had masking tape and the way the room was set up, he could split the room in half and still give them both access to the door and the bathroom. That idea was really tempting, actually...

Nina scrunched her mouth to one side and tapped on the door with with back of her fist. She heard the sounds of things being shoves around inside, and waited a few curious moments before knocking again, louder this time.

Aramis blinked and stood up, opening the door. He was careful to keep from distracting Keme, since he was getting his way and wasn't really interested in changing that. He could actually relax in a clean room, so... the fact that Kemekin was actually cleaning it made him feel better. "Um..."
He blinked again, looking with surprise at the... rather little girl at the door. "C-can I help you?" he asked, surprised. He'd gotten over his shyness with Kemekin out of necessity, but this girl was a totally different story. One; female. Two; he'd seen her in a class or two and that was far from enough for him to really know her. What was her name again?

Nina smiled up at her classmate. "Hi, Aramis," she said, unhindered. "What's up?" She didn't know much about him other than his name. She sat behind him in one class (meaning most of that class she spent twisted to one side or another to see the board/teacher) and on the opposite side of the room in another. Ever the quiet boy, he was. His shyness reminded her of Jaebi at times.
With a sketchbook and notepad clutched in one arm, she added, "I come in search of your roommate."

"Ah. He-he's over there," Aramis said, stepping out of the way so she could come in. He moved back to his bed, sitting indian-style on the covers. Normally he had perfect posture, except the one class poor Nina (ah, there it was) was trapped behind him. That one he usually spent with his head on the desk so she could better see. Always had a sore back after that, too.
Please don't stop him from cleaning PLEASE he mentally asked. It was almost done!

Nina stepped into the room and stifled a giggle. "Oh, Keme," she said, making her way lightly to lean against the desk at the other side of the room, if only to be out of the way for a few minutes. "Books don't go under the bed. Shame on you. Pull them out and put them up correctly."
Though her tone was bright, she had every intention of making the boy do so. She had grown up with monks, for chrissake.

Kemekin turned in his stooped position, having just finished putting shoes on the floor of the closet. "Make me," he challenged, knowing that neither Aramis nor Nina could see his grin.

Nina arched one eyebrow. She was quite capable of making Kemekin do so, actually... She mentally scrolled through her choices as far as manners of persuasion went, setting her sketchbook and notepad down on the desktop and crossing her arms.
"Kemekin," she cooed, "have you ever been put through contortion drills?"

"No, of course I haven't been put through contor--" The threat of Nina's statement did not immediately hit Kemekin. He blamed her sweet tone of voice, which was quite deceptive, considering just what the blond was physically capable of.
"You're a little demon, you know that?" he grumbled, crouching to shift from beneath the bed the books he had shoved there just minutes before. There were only six of them. Geez. He stacked them and carried them over to the bookshelf, which was right next to the desk. He shelved them one by one, looking deliberately at Nina through his fringe. Three volumes of the same manga series (all to do with gunslingers and zombies), his Geometry textbook (something he would rather be kept out of sight), a collection of Shakespeare's comedies (is that where it had gone?) and Danielewski's House of Leaves.
"There," he announced, his fingers lingering on the spines of the books for a second before he turned to regard his side of the room with a sweep of his hand. "It's clean... er than I normally have it."
Tidy wasn't quite the word. Bearable seemed almost a better term. Kemekin was the kind of boy who needed a little chaos in his surroundings-- he had no hope of finding things in a consistently organized environment.

Aramis sighed. Well, that was much better. All the mess was on Kemekin's side, and it was mostly gone.
"Thank you Nina," he sighed under his breath. He could handle this... now as long as Kemekin didn't make it get any worse... Though if it got any worse again, Aramis was going to go to the headmistress and beg to get out of this match-up. Or he'd go sleep outside. Weather wasn't going to bother him, he'd slept without a blanket under the trees in a hail-storm.

Kemekin, glancing once at his roommate, stretched his arm behind Nina and picked up the sketchbook on her other side, flipping through the pages curiously.
"This is different from the one you showed me before," he commented. Indeed, nearly all of these pages were filled with images in ink. As far as he knew, Nina had a sketchbook for graphite, another for watercolors, two others for pastels and charcoal, and now this one. He came to a page and grinned. The subject looked suspiciously like Aramis, sitting in a school desk with his chin propped up on one fist.

Aramis noticed him glancing at him and raised a brow, silently asking what he was finding so amusing. He rolled his eyes and lay back on his bed, watching the ceiling. Whatever, his silly roommate could do what he wanted as long as he didn't trash the room so badly again.
And make out with his girlfriend while he was there. Aramis felt it was awkward enough she was in there, but for them to start making out... he might just chase Kemekin out after that.

Kemekin grinned, contemplating whether it was safe to give Nina a quick peck on the cheek while Aramis wasn't looking. He decided against it, and instead tip-toed over to his roommate. He leaned over him and held the sketchbook open in front of his chest.
"You look good in black and white," he said, his grin becoming a smirk. "What class was this in? You look like you're about to fall asleep."

Aramis looked at it in surprise, glancing over at Nina with confusion. Why on earth was she sketching him? "Um... could be any class..."
He looked up at his roommate, wondering what was on the boy's mind. "Any good artist could make anyone look good. Even you, kid."
Not that Keme was what most would call unattractive, but he wasn't what Aramis would have been interested in. And not just because of his gender. He was tempted to shove the kid out of his face, but restrained himself. He still had most of the year to live with him, after all.

Nina snaked forward and wrapped one arm around Kemekin's neck from behind, pulling him away from Aramis, who was clearly getting more annoyed by the minute.
"He's going to kill you in your sleep, Kem," she insisted, snatching the sketchbook away from him with her free arm. Travelling on her toes (damn her height), she dragged Kemekin to the door and span the boy around to face it. "Open the door, please," she said sweetly.
To Aramis, she smiled, adding with a wink, "I'll take him off your hands for a while, if you don't mind at all."

"Not at all," Aramis said with a grateful tone. It was getting difficult to be polite... it might be easier if he was used to people, but he wasn't and that was that. Pairing him with Kemekin might be concerned cruel and unusual punishment...

Jonathan hurried down the hall. He searched the room numbers quickly, trying to remember which room belonged to Aramis. Liam was out being controlled by Eve and Jonathan didn't want to talk to Zeph, which meant that Aramis was the next logical choice for Jonathan to go to. When he finally found what he thought was Aramis' room, he raised his hand and rapped his knuckles on the door.
"Aramis!" He said harshly, but soft enough that his voice wouldn't invade any room but Aramis'. "Get up! Get out here now!"

Aramis woke slowly, looking blankly at the door. Kemekin was completely out of it... He had heard his name... he pulled himself out of bed and brushed his hair out of his face as he opened the door. Oh, he was tired... he still couldn't seem to completely recover from the intense healing he'd done for Ian and Jason... and Zeph. Especially Zeph's healing. He blinked, looking blankly at the person standing at his door. "Do I know you?"
